Dr. Alizzi J. Stanchel was raised in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Washington DC when she attended Howard University for her undergraduate studies. At Howard University she graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management. She was also inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2006. Dr. Stanchel has worked in various office environments where she has performed examinations for glasses, contact lenses, ocular health, and co – managed with ophthalmologists for pre and post-operative refractive and ocular disease surgery patients.
When Dr. Stanchel is not practicing optometry she enjoys riding her bike, cooking new foods and spending quality time with family and friends.
